The 2022 SALISH SEA SALMON CHALLENGE FISHING DERBY – SATURDAY, 3 RD SEPTEMBER - 6:30am to 4:00pm - The salmon fishing has been great, there's lots of fish around, weather forecast is looking stable, rod tickets are $70.00 each. Lingcod and rockfish anglers reported FAIR success. Halibut fishing was SLOW on the weekend, but better than the previous week. There were many oversize fish and lots off small ones caught and released. Anglers were catching some slot size chinooks in all areas.
